The different methods used in interaction provide the user with different perspectives on information. This is advantageous because considering different perspectives on a specific problem might help one find a better conclusion. I found the Encode techniques to be the most interesting with regards to different perspectives because it allows the user to change the shape, size and colour of the visualization.

It is interesting to see that the authors regard HCI as important because in other related field such as information systems management, human interaction and use is also critical to the success of the system. The Human factor thus remains critical in most information processes.
