The problem domain: the dataset which I have used deals with carbon emissions per ton by the different countries and also the percentage change in these emissions from 1990-2009. The graph is ordered according to the countries 2009 emissions, with highest at the top and then the amount of emissions recorded on the side with the change in emission from 1990-2009 in parallel.
Hypothesis: The highest ranked countries, in terms of most carbon emissions, have had their emissions increase over the past 10 years.

Data actually indicates that while China and the USA have not made progress in reducing or limiting their carbon emissions and their emissions have indeed increased, Russia and Germany who are still ranked as having relatively very high emissions actually have been reducing their emissions over the years. It would have been nice to have this animated so it would show the person viewing the data how he emission rankings have changes but I wasn't sure that I would be able to do this. In addition if I had more time I may have inserted some population data to fill give a bit more detail.
